What is the “New Call Received” Event?
The New Call Received node is an event trigger that activates whenever your WhatsApp account receives an incoming call. You can specify whether the event should respond to:
Audio calls
Video calls
This is useful for:
Notifying your team when someone calls your WhatsApp line
Tracking call attempts outside working hours
Creating fallback flows for missed calls
How to Set It Up
Navigate to Automations
Open your Botassium dashboard and go to the Automations tab.Create or Edit an Automation Flow
Select an existing automation or start a new one.Add the “New Call Received” Event Node
Find it under Events and drag it into your canvas.Choose the Call Type
In the settings panel, select whether this event should trigger on:Audio calls
Video calls
Connect to Follow-up Actions
Based on the call type, you might:Send an auto-reply

Let’s say your business doesn’t support calls but you still want to track them:
