How to Use the “Location Message Received” Event in Botassium
If you want your WhatsApp automation to respond intelligently to users who share their location, Botassium makes that easy with the “Location Message Received” event.

What is the “Location Message Received” Event?
The Location Message Received node is an event trigger in Botassium that activates whenever someone sends you a location pin on WhatsApp.
This is useful for:
Automatically replying when a customer shares their location
Logging delivery addresses
Sending location-specific info like the nearest store or agent
How to Set It Up
Go to the Automations Tab
Head to your Botassium dashboard and click on Automations.Create a New Flow or Edit an Existing One
Add a new automation or open an existing one where you want to handle location messages.Drag and Drop the “Location Message Received” Node
From the list of events, drag “Location Message Received” into your flow.
This will act as the starting point of your automation.Connect it to an Action
Example: Send a reply like
“Thanks for sharing your location. A delivery agent will reach out soon.”
